From the Math Class

Wow the 1st nine weeks flew by!!!!  I am so proud of how well the students are doing in math!  There is nothing more that I would love to see than the students continuing to excell in math.  The best way to make sure this happens is to make sure your child listens, asks question, and participates in class. 

Also, the second nine weeks (and the rest of the year) relies heavily on knowing multiplication facts.  Please start working with your child on the multiplication facts.  Your child should be able to say the answer in 3 to 5 seconds. Having multiplication fluency will make the rest of fourth grade math so much easier!

Character Kids for the month of September

At Lake Hamilton Intermediate, we have the BEST students in the state of Arkansas!!! Here are just a few.  These students have been chosen as the Character Kids for the month September because they have shown that they are very RESPONSIBLE in everything that they do!!!!

We are having a Quiz over place value tomorrow: Friday, September 28th.  Today we reviewed for the test by playing some place-value games. It was a great way to reinforce our place value skills...not to mention that it was FUN too!

Wow the classes are doing so well in math this far. :)   I am so proud of them!  We are learning and having fun at the same time!  It is going to be a GREAT year.  Please encourage your child to keep up the hard work!

There is a quiz over place value Friday, September 28th. Your child should have a study guide in there binder.  Any student who gets a parent/guardian signature will receive 5 bonus points.
