Happy Halloween!!!

Character Round-Up

Last Friday, we made some memories that will last forever. Our whole pod performed "Character Round Up" in front of the fourth and fifth grade classes.  They were absolutely FABULOUS!!!!!!!! We are very proud teachers! We think we have some actors in the making. We just want to say Thank you to all the teachers, students, and parents who helped to make this show one of the best character plays ever!!!!    :)

To celebrate our Drug Free Week, today was Wear Red Day.

Red Ribbon Week

Today, we had our Red Ribbon Week Kick Off Rally.  We went to the gym and watched the cheerleaders, dancing wolves, and the band.  We heard speakers talk about staying drug free. Also, today was "Rock Star" day.  To start our week off, students and teachers dressed up like rock stars. It was a BLAST! WE'VE NEVER LOOKED BETTER!  :)

From the Math Class

Wow the 1st nine weeks flew by!!!!  I am so proud of how well the students are doing in math!  There is nothing more that I would love to see than the students continuing to excell in math.  The best way to make sure this happens is to make sure your child listens, asks question, and participates in class. 

Also, the second nine weeks (and the rest of the year) relies heavily on knowing multiplication facts.  Please start working with your child on the multiplication facts.  Your child should be able to say the answer in 3 to 5 seconds. Having multiplication fluency will make the rest of fourth grade math so much easier!

Character Kids for the month of September

At Lake Hamilton Intermediate, we have the BEST students in the state of Arkansas!!! Here are just a few.  These students have been chosen as the Character Kids for the month September because they have shown that they are very RESPONSIBLE in everything that they do!!!!
